 I've been an avid "collector" of McGrath/Potter "stuff" for many years.  A couple of years ago, I was presented with the opportunity to purchase Bat McGrath's custom-made 1976 Larrivee .  He was kind enough to email me a link (out of the proverbial blue - there may have been an ulterior motive!) to the guitar shop where the Larrivee was on consignment.  I knew immediately that I would buy it - maybe he did too!   He told me - after the purchase - that he "felt like it was with family".  That made my day and I can't tell you how much I enjoy playing it; it's a great guitar.  Thanks, Bat.
