MARY ELLEN BARLOW
At this time, I have no claim to fame and, more than likely, never will have - but that's OK. One of the reasons I enjoy writing is that it allows me to use my imagination and go anywhere I want and be whoever I want to be ... if only for a short time.
In 1991, I wrote my first song, signed my first publishing contract and, in 1993, The Memory Brothers (featuring Doug Koempel) recorded "The Windows of My Life. I was thrilled with that early success & I was hooked. Having never dreamed that someone would actually record something I'd written, my subsequent independent cuts have made me very happy.
